This place is always great! The employees are polite and the prices are great... obviously it's cheaper the more pretzels you buy but that's normal business practice for most places. Their philly-steak pocket pretzels are amazing, though I tend to eat them with a bit of pretzel salt (since they come unsalted). They have tables outside to sit at and in unpleasant weather my husband and I have been known to hang out in our car munching out. They sell many drink options and various pretzel options including the phill steak pretzel pocket, cinnamon sugar pretzels, pepperoni and cheese topped pretzels and hot-dog pretzels. They have different types of dip including multiple cheeses, mustards, chocolate and icing. The pretzels will harden over the course of the day if left out... but it's not a worry until many hours have passed. We tend to freeze any leftovers and then 30 seconds in the microwave gives you a great snack or breakfast.

Crowd pleaser was a great surprise for friends at a board of director meeting. I took a platter to nurses at St. Clair Hospital and they loved them. Excellent pretzel for a very fair price.

My brother and I worked for this establishment about five years ago before the new owner purchased it. New owner came in and fired most of the staff. He was from Philadelphia and absolutely hated Pittsburgh. These comments about the previous manager are so not true. He gave his life to work there. Once the new owner came in, they cut his pay to half of what he was making. Greg put his two week notice in and the owner did not pay him his final paycheck. He was never fired for stealing, Completely false.a The owner was a cry baby and felt betrayed because he was leaving him. I read these comments to him over the phone the other day. He is opening a law suit you against the owner for defamation of character and slander. Greg has opened up a fantastic business helping people fight for their unemployment. He has a 5 star rating and has help over 1000 people. Funny part is they talk about fake reviews on this site. Scott Kallen is the owner and he puts fake reviews up everywhere about this place. Greg hasn't work there in 6 years Scott. I think you need to show ownership in your own business and respect what people are telling you online about your business. Grow up! Best part is it cost $0.07 to make a pretzel so this shows you how much they overcharge their customers. They charge 35 dollars for a party tray that only cost 4 dollars to make. Beware of the prices. Owner needs to wake up and quit blaming others. Don't worry I'm sure your daddy will build you another store if this one doesn't make it. Must be great to have everything given to you for free. I wish my daddy would build me a restaurant. And it's been since 1975 since the Philadelphia Flyers won a cup. Let's go pens!

I haven't been here in a few years, but I use to work here. Honestly, I am surprised they are still around. There really wasn't much offerings. Really all you could get are pretzels. And you have pay for the mustard dip, which seems really cheap to me. The pretzels in my opinion are only good if you eat them right away from coming out of the oven, which I could do since I worked there. There is no area for people to sit down and enjoy. The plus side is that they are fast and inexpensive.
